Christian Filmmaking

Some of the cast and crew from the "The Penny" after the Award Ceremonies at SAICFF

I have been so blessed to be a part of several film projects with my brothers' company, Filmweavers, serving as caterer, craft service girl, script supervisor, hair fixer, grip, prop person, gopher, prankster, clapper girl, etc.  Filmmaking is hard, hard work but has plenty of fun involved too.  I can't wait to work on another shoot.

Their latest film, The Penny, won the Jubilee Award for Best Feature Film at the SAICFF.  It is a phenominal, high quality, not sappy, Christian film.  Filled with drama, suspense, and dynamic relationships, it's a film you don't want to miss!  To view the trailer, follow this link: The Penny Trailer

Here is the description from The Penny's website:

"'The Penny' is a drama/thriller that follows a series of seemingly insignificant events in a number of people’s lives. Hidden amidst their “bigger” problems, these disconnected pieces of their lives go unnoticed until they begin to fit together in a totally unexpected way. Suddenly these strangers are thrust together by what some would call luck, chance, fate, coincidence, or even destiny. But is it something even bigger than that?"
